Amanda behind the bar = 2 employees, she is so good. Food is authentic and priced well. No other Southwestern/Mexican restaurant comes close.
Good food and good service. This is not fast food. The salsa is great, 3 flavors, the roasted habenero is my favorite, it is usually spicy. The tomatillo salsa is my wife's favorite. It has a bit of citrus to it. Not usually crowded but has its moments when it is.
Clean. Good service. Friendly people. Salsa options are good. Food pretty standard mexican but with a few twists. More upscale feeling than your corner mexican joint.
Excellent Tex-Mex food, broad selection, excellent atmosphere (reminds me of former home!) good service, and all of this consistently delivered over the decade-plus it's been open. The location is convenient and prominent, and handicapped access is excellent. There's a separate bar area and a side entrance for order-out/take-away. Restrooms are generally well-tended.
This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Memphis. The food is great and the plates are huge. You will not leave here hungry. Sign up for their email list and you will get a free birthday meal along with other specials from time to time.
The owner-operator is a highly-trained chef and definitely a 'hands-on' manager; he does an excellent job ensuring everything works properly and corrects any issues on the spot.

One minus: there's no separate large-gathering room, so groups are accommodated in the central seating area. The staff handles groups well.
This has been one of our favorite Mexican-food restaurants for many years. I endorse it 100%.
The flan is amazing!!! I have their number on speed dial and anytime I go to Memphis, I will call and get a couple of flans to go, even if I don't eat there and they always add free chips and salsa and pack it in ice for me for my drive home which is probably 45 minutes. I don't go here often because of the distance, but definitely highly recommend this place.
