Worst service ever! 7:00 pm between Christmas and New Years. Went to purchase bedding that I had already picked out on a previous visit. No employees on site, in various departments. Finally found 3 staff huddled around a check out counter with no one else around. As I approached one walked away two others continued to talk. After about 3 minutes of their personal conversation I asked if anyone is in the bedding section. One employee said “no, you will have to bring it to this register we are the only one open”. I asked if I could get some help with the product and she quickly added that she was helping someone (no one in sight). The other employee added that she was off and quickly walked away. Way to stay in business! We have shopped at this Macy’s for years and the service has definitely changed for the worse.
They do not have enough salespeople to help. The show department had one person helping people and doing cash register. So I waited 20 minutes just to get my size in shoes. Several people didn't wait. I have to give the girl that ended up helping me came out from the back. She was super nice. I asked her if she would get commission off the 2 pair of boots I bought and she said no. She is a awesome employee. Then when I get back to my hometown, I had bought clothes and they left the device on, that didn't go off when I left. I am 3 hours away from that store. And our closest Macy's is 2 hours away.
I loved how employees greetings, like they know you, some may be quiet, but not rude...I enjoy shopping here, online pick up is easy and quick
