You will not find people with egos bigger than Cadillacs here. All of the belts there have been extremely helpful and encouraging. Chad has a real talent for instruction and explains techniques in detail before you ever drill them. If there's not a brown belt helping the students, Chad himself will watch and come over to help with the details of the technique in case you don't understand it.
Black belted by world famous MMA champion master Royce Gracie, Chad Chilcutt is possibly the best teacher of the arts around. He is also a genuinely nice and very likable guy. I have been bringing my 10 year old son to his school for almost a year now and he loves it. MMA is really a very serious discipline and Chad is not only highly skilled but has an absolute natural ability to teach the children the discipline and is incredibly able to hold their attention by keeping it fun for them too! Can't say enough nice things about this school!
I had gained a considerable amount of weight since I had to stop 6 years ago due to an injury (Not JiuJitsu related). Since training with Chad and my teammates I have lost 35 lbs and my energy levels are increasing everyday. Now mind you I have only been back training for almost 2 months.I know it's hard to believe but you have my word this is true.
You couldn't ask for a better training experience. Class size isn't overwhelming and my teammates are great.
I totally love this place!! I take the kickboxing classes and it's grown my strength, confidence, and helping with my get healthy weight loss journey! My son is also in the Black Belt program. He loves every moment, his strength, confidence, and discipline have grown tremendously. Chad and his staff are a great group, very willing to help and pour into you. This place is excellent, I recommend it to both adults and children alike. Owner teaches self-defense while holding true to Christian values. Clean, friendly environment. Always greeted professionally by staff and students. If you have ever considered martial arts or just thinking about getting in shape I highly recommend this place. You will feel safe and welcome always.
